OP-08 Japanese Booster Box
The One Piece Card Game OP-08 "Two Legends" Japanese Booster Box (set code: OP-08) was released in Japan on May 25, 2024, with the English global edition following on September 13, 2024. This is the Japanese-language version, available approximately four months ahead of the English release. OP-08 is the eighth main booster expansion in the One Piece Card Game. The set name references a scene in Volume 51 of the original manga where Monkey D. Garp refers to Silvers Rayleigh and Edward Newgate (Whitebeard) as "two legends" — the direct inspiration for the set's name and theme.
OP-08 marks the long-awaited One Piece Card Game debut of Silvers Rayleigh — the Dark King, first mate of the legendary Gol D. Roger, and one of the most powerful characters in the series. His Leader card features an effect that lowers the power of opposing characters and KOs any character with 3000 power or less, creating immediate pressure and control. The set also introduces Edward Newgate (Whitebeard) in a new color pairing, alongside Tony Tony Chopper making his Leader debut in a Red/Green Animal/Drum Kingdom/Straw Hat Crew theme — one of the most popular Leader cards introduced in the set for collectors and Chopper fans. Other new Leaders include Marco (Red/Blue, Whitebeard Pirates), and Leaders from the Beasts Pirates and Big Mom Pirates in new color combinations, dramatically expanding deck-building options for those archetypes. The set also features the Drum Kingdom arc and Zou arc themes for the first time in main set releases.
The top chase cards are the Gol D. Roger Manga Rare — depicting the Pirate King in iconic manga panel artwork — and the Whitebeard Manga Rare, with both capturing the full weight of the "two legends" theme. The Treasure Rare appears at extreme scarcity with premium finish. Other sought-after cards include the alternate art versions of the new Leaders, Special Cards featuring Perona and Orbeetle, and key Rocks Pirates character cards.
The complete set contains 126 + 1 card types across the following rarities: 6 Leaders, 45 Commons, 30 Uncommons, 26 Rares, 10 Super Rares, 2 Secret Rares, 6 Special Cards, 1 Treasure Rare, and 1 DON!! card.
Box contents: 24 booster packs per box. 6 cards per pack. 144 total cards per box. Language: Japanese. All card text is in Japanese. Manufacturer: Bandai. Condition: Factory sealed.
Ideal for collectors chasing the Roger and Whitebeard Manga Rares, competitive players building Rayleigh, Chopper, Marco, or Whitebeard Pirates decks, and One Piece fans who want the Japanese version of one of the most thematically rich sets in the game's history. Cards are randomised and specific pulls are not guaranteed.
