One Piece Card Game Booster Pack: The Time of Battle (set code: OP-16, Japanese title: 決戦の刻 / Kessen no Toki) is the sixteenth main booster set in Bandai's One Piece Card Game, released in Japan on May 30, 2026. This is the Japanese version (OCG) of the set, the original Bandai release with Japanese text — out approximately two weeks before the English version's June 12, 2026 launch, making this Japanese booster box currently the only way in the world to open OP-16 packs. The set is themed around the Marineford Paramount War arc, one of the most iconic and emotionally charged storylines in the entire One Piece series, with the Whitebeard Pirates, Marine Headquarters, the three Admirals (Akainu, Aokiji and Kizaru), and the Impel Down fugitives clashing in the race to rescue Portgas D. Ace.

For One Piece collectors, OP-16 is the most collector-focused set Bandai has ever released. For the first time in One Piece Card Game history, a single booster set contains three Manga Rare cards — the rarest and most prestigious cards in the game, featuring artwork pulled directly from Eiichiro Oda's original manga panels. Previous main sets have included only one Manga Rare each, so the jump to three in a single box is a major shift in Bandai's rarity structure and is already driving heavy collector demand globally. The set also includes Secret Rares of Portgas D. Ace and Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard), plus a Super Parallel lineup centred on the three Admirals — making it one of the most desirable sealed One Piece products of 2026.

For One Piece TCG players, OP-16 introduces six new Leader cards including OP16-001 Portgas D. Ace and OP16-022 Monkey D. Luffy, alongside new mechanics, new Special Cards (six in total) and an Impel Down Prisoner Treasure Rare (OP16-042) that opens up new Marine and war-themed deck-building options. The set is expected to significantly reshape the One Piece Card Game competitive meta, with Japan setting the early narrative two weeks before the English release lands.

Box contents: one sealed Japanese One Piece Card Game Booster Box: The Time of Battle [OP-16] containing 24 booster packs. Each booster pack contains 6 cards, with at least one Rare or higher in every pack and parallel versions available across most rarities. The set contains 126 card types plus 1 Secret Rare, 6 Leader Cards, 6 Special Cards and 1 Treasure Rare, with parallel-art versions and Manga Rare slots as additional chase pulls. Language: Japanese. Publisher: Bandai. Condition: Factory sealed.

Ideal for One Piece TCG collectors chasing the three historic Manga Rare cards and the Ace, Blackbeard and Admirals Secret Rares and Super Parallels, OCG (Japanese version) collectors completing the One Piece Card Game line, fans of the Marineford Paramount War arc, competitive One Piece TCG players in the UAE and wider GCC who want early access two weeks before the English release, and case-buyers and resellers stocking up on the most anticipated One Piece sealed product of 2026. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
