Terastal Festival ex Japanese Booster Box

Pokemon TCG: Terastal Festival ex (set code: SV8a) was released in Japan on December 6, 2024 as the annual High Class Pack for the Scarlet and Violet era — Japan's final premium collector set before the transition to the Mega Evolution era. This set served as the Japanese source material for the English Prismatic Evolutions release (January 17, 2025), but the Japanese version contains significantly more cards and carries distinct collector appeal independent of its English counterpart. The full set contains 237 cards including all rarities.

Terastal Festival ex is built entirely around Eevee and all eight of its Evolutions, each appearing as a Stellar Tera Pokemon ex for the first time in the Pokemon TCG. Following Pikachu's Stellar Tera debut in Surging Sparks, this set hands the spotlight to the full Eeveelution family in their Terastal crystal forms. As a High Class Pack, the set's main set consists primarily of reprints of the most popular and sought-after cards from 2023 and 2024 Scarlet and Violet releases — including Terapagos ex, Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex, Teal Mask Ogerpon ex, Roaring Moon ex, and Paradox Pokemon from Wild Force, Cyber Judge, Ancient Roar, and Future Flash — all given new Special Art Rare treatments in this set. Each booster pack guarantees at least one Pokemon ex.

The top chase cards are the Eeveelution Stellar Tera Pokemon ex SARs, with Umbreon ex and Sylveon ex SARs commanding the highest secondary market values. The set contains 12 Super Rares, 33 Special Art Rares, and 5 Ultra Art Rares across 237 total collectible card variations. Each box typically yields approximately 1 SR, SAR, or UR hit, 3 Art Rares, and 4 to 5 Double Rares on average.
