One Piece – OP-12 “Legacy of the Master” Japanese Booster Box

The One Piece Card Game OP-12 "Legacy of the Master" Japanese Booster Box (set code: OP-12) was released in Japan on May 31, 2025, with the English global edition following on August 22, 2025. This is the Japanese-language version, available approximately three months ahead of the English release. OP-12 is the 12th main booster expansion in the One Piece Card Game. The Japanese title Shitei no Kizuna translates directly as "The Bond between Master and Disciple" — the central theme of the entire set.

OP-12 is built around the legendary mentor and disciple relationships across the One Piece series. Every new Leader card in the set represents a character defined by a teacher-student bond, and the alternate art versions of all six Leaders depict both the mentor and the student together in the artwork — a first for the game and one of the most distinctive collector features in any One Piece TCG release. The six new Leaders are Silvers Rayleigh (Dark King, mentor of Luffy, limits deckbuilding to cost 4 or lower but boosts a character in play), Roronoa Zoro (mentee of Dracule Mihawk), Vinsmoke Sanji (mentee of Zeff), Donquixote Rosinante (mentor of Trafalgar Law, gives discounts on Law cards and protects them from being KO'd), Koala (Revolutionary Army, mentor of Nico Robin in Fish-Man Karate), and Kuzan (mentee of Monkey D. Garp, now part of the Blackbeard Pirates). This is also a 3rd Anniversary set, with limited-edition prints celebrating the milestone.

The top chase card is the Jewelry Bonney Manga Rare — capturing her dramatic Egghead Arc story in manga panel artwork. The Treasure Rare is Vinsmoke Sanji, known for its extreme scarcity and premium finish. The set also includes Gold and Silver Special Card versions of Marshall D. Teach as anniversary special cards. The full set contains 154 collectible card variations across all rarities.
