One Piece – OP-01 “Romance Dawn” Japanese Booster Box
The One Piece Card Game OP-01 "Romance Dawn" Japanese Booster Box (set code: OP-01) was released in Japan on July 22, 2022, with the English global edition following on December 2, 2022. This is the original Japanese-language print of the very first booster set in the One Piece Card Game — the release that launched the entire game, introduced the five-color attribute system, and established the eight original Leader archetypes players still build around today.
Romance Dawn holds the deepest chase list in the game's history. The Dracule Mihawk, Monkey D. Luffy, Boa Hancock and Nami Manga Rares are among the most valuable single cards ever printed for the One Piece Card Game, and the two Secret Rares — Shanks and Yamato — remain permanent collector targets years after release. Every box also guarantees one box-topper parallel card, randomly pulled from six possible characters, a feature unique to this original print run.
The eight Leaders in this set launched the game's core color identities: Roronoa Zoro (Red), Trafalgar Law (Red/Green), Monkey D. Luffy (Red/Green), Kouzuki Oden (Green), Donquixote Doflamingo (Blue), Kaido (Blue/Purple), Crocodile (Blue/Purple) and King (Purple). OP-01 remains the cheapest way to build a competitive Red deck around Luffy or Zoro, and every base-rarity Leader from this set is still fully tournament-legal today.
Box contents: 24 booster packs per box. 6 cards per pack. 144 total cards per box, plus 1 guaranteed box-topper parallel card. Language: Japanese. All card text is in Japanese. Manufacturer: Bandai. Condition: Factory sealed.
Ideal for collectors chasing the Mihawk or Luffy Manga Rare, competitive players building an original Red or Blue/Purple deck, and any One Piece fan who wants the set that started it all in its original Japanese print. Cards are randomised and specific pulls are not guaranteed — a standout gift for One Piece fans across the UAE and GCC.
