Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box

The Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet — Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box (ETB) was released on January 17, 2025 as the fourth special expansion set of the Scarlet & Violet series. Set code: PRE. The set is the English counterpart of the Japanese High Class Pack Terastal Festival ex and is built around Eevee and all eight of its Evolutions appearing as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex. The full set contains 180 cards, including 131 main set cards and 49 secret rares — among them 32 Special Illustration Rares, 12 Ultra Rares, and 5 Hyper Rares.

Important note for collectors: Prismatic Evolutions is a special expansion set, meaning no traditional booster boxes were produced. The Elite Trainer Box is one of the primary ways to obtain packs from this set, which has contributed to sustained demand and above-retail pricing since launch.

This set is widely regarded as one of the most collectible releases of the Scarlet & Violet era, frequently compared to Evolving Skies for its focus on fan-favourite Eeveelutions. Notable chase cards include the Umbreon ex Special Illustration Rare, Sylveon ex SIR, Vaporeon ex SIR, Espeon ex SIR, and Eevee ex SIR. The set also introduces Poke Ball and Master Ball reverse holo patterns to English cards for the first time, featuring a texture and shattered glass finish matching the Japanese originals.
