Sorcery Contested Realms Gothic Booster Box

Sorcery: Contested Realm — Gothic is the third major expansion for Sorcery: Contested Realm, published by Erik's Curiosa and released on December 5, 2025. With 440 cards, Gothic is the largest set in the game's history — larger than Beta (the previous record holder) and more than double the size of Arthurian Legends. The set explores themes of darkness, devotion, and the supernatural, featuring angels, demons, the undead, and Lovecraftian horror. It can be played as a standalone set or combined with Alpha, Beta, and Arthurian Legends cards.

The headline mechanical addition is the Evil keyword, which unites Undead, Demons, and Monsters under a shared type for the first time, enabling entirely new synergies and deck archetypes built around darkness-themed creatures. Gothic also introduces 13 new Avatar cards, significantly expanding the roster of playable Avatars and shifting the competitive meta. All artwork is hand-painted using traditional mediums — Gothic's confirmed artists include Dan Seagrave, David O'Connor, Pedro Ferreira, and Ian Miller, whose "The Void" painting is featured on the booster box itself. Each booster pack features "The Screamer" artwork on the packaging.

As with all Sorcery sets, each pack contains cards that exist in both standard and premium holographic foil versions, with foil versions pulled at random. Gothic also continues the game's legendary Curio Card mechanic — secret cards related to the game's development and lore that Erik's Curiosa has never officially acknowledged, making them among the most sought-after chase items in any TCG. This booster box also includes 1 Box Topper pack in addition to the 36 booster packs.

The booster box itself is more substantial than a standard TCG box and features a magnetic seal, making it reusable as storage after opening.
