Magic: The Gathering — Bloomburrow Commander Deck: Family Matters (set code: BLC) is one of four preconstructed Commander decks from the Bloomburrow set, released worldwide on August 2, 2024. Bloomburrow takes Magic to a brand-new plane populated entirely by animal-folk — Birds, Rabbits, Rats, Mice, Squirrels, Otters, Frogs, Bats and more — defending the Valley from the powerful elemental Calamity Beasts. Family Matters is the Jeskai (White-Blue-Red) precon for the set, themed around growing your animal family through the new Offspring mechanic. This is a 100-card, ready-to-play deck for the Commander format, a multiplayer free-for-all for three to five players.

For Magic collectors, Family Matters ships with a Borderless Traditional Foil face commander, Zinnia, Valley's Voice (a Bird Bard with strong commander appeal), a second foil legendary commander, and an alt-art foil reprint of the Planeswalker Elspeth, Sun's Champion — one of the most popular white Planeswalkers in Magic's history. Each deck also includes a Traditional Foil Imagine: Courageous Critters card from the much-loved cycle reimagining classic Magic creatures and Planeswalkers as adorable Bloomburrow-style animals.

For Magic players, Family Matters is a White-Blue-Red (Jeskai) deck built around the new Offspring mechanic — Zinnia, Valley's Voice gives all creature spells you cast Offspring 2, letting you create token copies of every creature you play and rapidly snowball into a wide board state. The deck supports go-wide, tokens-matter and aggro angles, and is one of the more straightforward Bloomburrow precons for new Commander players to pilot out of the box.
